The TwinAx story

Built from doing the work.

TwinAx didn't begin with a plan to create another conventional IT company. It began with real projects and a practical way of solving technology problems.

The foundation

Built on experience. Not theory.

TwinAx is a young company built on more than three decades of hands-on technology experience.

Long before the TwinAx name existed, its founder was designing, operating, troubleshooting, modernizing, and leading technology in environments where downtime had immediate operational consequences.

The work has crossed infrastructure, networking, databases, virtualization, security, communications, business systems, specialized operational technology, and technology leadership. That experience shaped a simple belief: real technology problems rarely stay inside one discipline.

TwinAx was built accordingly.

Origin

The company came after the work.

TwinAx did not begin as a conventional business plan or a predefined catalog of services. One project ended. Another opportunity appeared. The work continued—independently. The name came later.

2024

Independent consulting begins.

After a ground-up casino development project ends unexpectedly, an independent consulting opportunity follows with Rocky Mountain Gaming. The 19-month engagement supports two operating casino properties and grows across infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, regulatory readiness, recovery, networking, identity, databases, and major system deployments.

There is no TwinAx name yet. But the way of working is already taking shape.

The scope gets bigger.

A six-month engagement for the planned revival of Baby Doe's Casino & Saloon expands the independent work into complete onsite, ground-up IT and surveillance engineering. Working with casino leadership, construction teams, vendors, and technology partners, the project covers networks, structured cabling, surveillance, gaming systems, VoIP, point-of-sale, virtualization, cloud services, wireless, and the physical technology environment required for the property.

The larger casino project ultimately does not receive the funding required to proceed into construction and technology deployment. The completed engineering leaves the property with a comprehensive, deployment-ready technology blueprint.

The implementation never happened. The engineering did.

2026

The approach gets a name.

By now, a pattern is clear. The work does not fit neatly into networking, infrastructure, security, integration, consulting, or development. Real technology problems routinely cross all of those boundaries.

Rather than narrowing the work to fit a conventional IT services company, TwinAx is created around the opposite idea: start with the problem, understand the environment, use what works, integrate what exists, and build what does not.

Technology without the box.

NEXT

The story isn't finished.

TwinAx continues to grow from its consulting and engineering roots into a broader technology company— solving client problems, developing practical technology through TwinAx Works, delivering mature TwinAx Solutions, and exploring what might come next through R&D.

Practical engineering

Experience changes how you solve problems.

Good technology decisions aren't made in a vacuum. They happen in businesses where systems are already running, budgets have limits, downtime has consequences, legacy technology still matters, and replacing everything isn't always the right answer.

TwinAx looks at what exists, understands what the operation actually needs, and builds a solution that makes sense technically, operationally, and financially.

01

Understand First

Start with the problem.

Understand the environment, constraints, dependencies, and what success actually looks like.

02

Solution First

The product comes second.

Use an established product when it fits. Integrate when the pieces exist. Build when they don't.

03

Vendor Neutral

Use the right tool.

Select technology because it solves the problem—not because somebody is trying to sell it.

04

Build for Reality

Design for the environment you actually have.

Legacy systems, investments, budgets, operational constraints, security, and maintainability are part of the engineering problem.

05

Own the Outcome

Make it work.

A solution has to work, be understandable, supportable, maintainable, and continue delivering value after deployment.

We don't sell boxes.

We solve problems.
